Important Note:  CVDPN encourages all Coachella Valley Residents to enroll in "conventional classroom and field based CERT Training" when the opportunity arises.  As an interim alternative, the foregoing videos and on-line CERT Course can assist you in becoming better prepared as a community "first-responder."  (See Below)

Register for the On-line "Hybrid" CERT Course Now!

  • The University of Utah Health Center in partnership with the National CERT Association has developed an on-line version of classroom presentations intended to replicate the established CERT classroom modules.

  • NOTE: This course of instruction does NOT result in certification. Students must complete a field-application course which is still being developed, in order to become certified.

  • CVDPN encourages all Coachella Valley residents to view the CERT Skills Series videos (above) AND complete the On-line "Hybrid" CERT Course.
