City governments in the Coachella Valley have informed Homeowners Associations as well as residents in all neighborhoods that they should plan to be "self-sufficient" in the aftermath of a major catastrophic disaster, for a period of not less than 72 hours.  This means that public safety, emergency medical, and other government first-responders may not be available to assist us in the manner in which we have become accustomed.

CVDPN can assist HOAs with developing emergency response plans that are easily understood by volunteers with little or no background in emergency management or response.

Through our network of communities, we can provide you with easy to follow checklists that cover such topics as: gate security, building assessment, casualty assessment, emergency medical, fire suppression, light search-and-rescue, pet emergency care, and many others.
