It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of one of our own. 

Dr. Dennis Mileti , a resident of Rancho Mirage and Special Advisor to the Rancho Mirage Emergency Preparedness Commission; and to the Coachella Valley Disaster Preparedness Network, passed away on January 30, 2021.  An internationally acclaimed speaker and author, his lifelong achievements in disaster preparedness are unparalleled.  He leaves behind a legacy of knowledge and insight that will serve us all for many years to come.
