An Emergency Operations Center (EOC) is a location within your community that can provide centralized coordination and support for your volunteer first-responders.  It is important that communities ensure that responders follow pre-established operating procedures, and that EOCs maintain accurate community status reports.

Hundreds of Homeowners Associations and secure neighborhoods in the Coachella Valley, have already established these centers and are now able to coordinate with, and communicate their status to respective city governments as well as the County of Riverside.

CVDPN can assist you with establishing an EOC that fits the needs of your community.  We provide networking opportunities that allow you to visit with communities that have established, functioning EOC facilities.  CVDPN can also provide you with recommendations for emergency supplies  and basic communications equipment.
